I arrived at 11.55am to simply collect a parcel. The gentleman was already being rude to another customer and pulling faces to say they close at 12. She pointed out it was 5 to 12 and he replies “I’ve closed, I’ve already told you that” and pulls a ridiculous aggressive face.
I then asked to collect a parcel and he felt the need to tell me if I had been 2 minutes later he’d be closed as he was just about to leave. I’m not that local, my parcel went there by mistake and google states the closing time is 12.30pm so I didn’t really need a little telling off, it would have been an easy mistake to make. He locates my parcel and then claims, oh that was going back, don’t leave it here that long again, we only keep them for 2/2.5 weeks (it hadn’t yet been a week). Just a very odd and belittling exchange, like a little power trip. Would never ever step foot in there again, perhaps he doesn’t want people using the post office? All quite bizarre and oddly intimidating.
