The customer service at this post office is outstanding. I visited today to send my visa application forms and needed a prepaid envelope, but I had no idea which one was required.
Amanda was absolutely fantastic. She was patient, took the time to explain everything clearly, and guided me through the entire process. Her help made what could have been a stressful experience much easier.
Since my visa application was an important document that needed to be sent safely and securely, I really appreciated her knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to help. Thanks to Amanda, I left feeling confident that everything had been done correctly.
Thank you, Amanda, for providing such excellent customer service.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after repeated experiences over the last 3+ years, I feel I need to speak honestly about how interactions at this Post Office have affected me.
On multiple occasions, I have been spoken to in a rude, dismissive, patronising, or condescending manner by certain staff members. Today at around 9ish am, I politely asked for a form relating to changing my driving licence address and instead of simply helping me, I was met with a pedantic correction and an attitude that made me feel belittled and uncomfortable. It was not just the words, but the tone, facial expressions, and overall manner in which I was spoken to.
I wear a clearly visible Sunflower lanyard/card stating that I have multiple invisible disabilities, as well as a Sunflower wristband, yet I still left feeling anxious and mentally drained over what should have been a simple interaction.
What concerns me most is that this has become a repeated pattern over several years, not a one-off experience. The impact became serious enough that my wife often handled Post Office visits on my behalf because I became stressed about going in myself. No customer should feel uncomfortable or anxious simply for asking for help.
I also cannot ignore that, as a person of colour and immigrant living in the UK, these repeated interactions have at times left me feeling spoken down to and unwelcome. I want to be fair with my wording, but I have noticed a clear difference in how I have been treated depending on which staff members were serving at the counter. That contrast is difficult to ignore and has contributed to why these experiences have affected me so deeply.
At the same time, I want to acknowledge that other staff members at this branch have treated me professionally and respectfully, which is exactly how customer service should be.
People from different backgrounds, cultures, language abilities, and with visible or invisible disabilities all use these services. Customers are there to access a service, not to be patronised, corrected unnecessarily, or made to feel small over harmless wording or how they phrase a question.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides further training around respectful communication, hidden disabilities, diversity, equality, inclusion, and customer care.

Rude and obtuse.
Made wait in a queue while all ladies were just wasting time and not serving for no obvious reason.
Ridiculous.

Terrible attitude from the desk lady. I was going to do a return for the first time here and she was absolutely rude for no reason. People like that shouldn’t work on customer service.
