Very poor service!! The clerk shut me down in the middle of a question after I said hi. The second clerk looks confused when I asked for a D2 form. Resulted in the first clerk stepping back in to give me the form.

Utterly useless staff. Needed important documents to sent to solicitor in a black jiffy back using their special delivery service costing £10.45 and they wanted me to pay for a label. So effectively turned down a sale for the sake of a 5p label. No wonder this place is empty. I will be using Royal Mail online to ship my orders from here on wards. Royal Mail collect from your home for free and you can pay for shipping online.

I’m genuinely sad to be writing this review, but after using this Post Office regularly for over three years, I feel it’s long overdue. I’ve deliberately held back from leaving a negative review for at least two years, hoping things would improve… unfortunately, they haven’t. I’ve visited Post Office branches all over London and outside of London and this is by far the most unhelpful, unwelcoming and miserable branch I’ve encountered. Staff consistently appear disengaged, unfriendly and unwilling to help. There is no sense of customer care. Queues are often extremely long and even when there are three staff members behind the counter, customers are left waiting while staff reorganise shelves or look through boxes. I’ve witnessed queues of 10+ people, including elderly customers and pregnant women with no urgency or acknowledgment. The only reason this branch seems to remain in business is because there is no alternative Post Office nearby. Judging by the volume of one-star reviews, there appears to be no effort to address the issues or improve service. As a result, I’ve already stopped sending/collecting parcels and now limit my visits to the absolute minimum. A real shame, as local businesses rely heavily on reliable postal services.

I went it today to the post office with my autistic son who followed me to wait by the counter as there were five people there , one serving, two others at the counter and the others just sitting and looking at me. Now, one would naturally assume that as there were two people free you would be gestured to go to one of them. Instead the Caucasian lady that was serving a customer looked at my son who was moving around and is a tall young man of colour and proceeded to speak very loudly and rudely whilst gesturing her hand for him to move back and wait over there. Probably presuming that he was going to do something untoward. Now, when I pulled her up about this by stating that ‘you don’t have to be so rude and abrupt’ she proceeded to want to argue with me whilst looking for some sort of justification of her actions by asking her colleagues… naturally I continued to put her in her place…now this was my first visit to this post office and will be my last! Absolutely disgusting behaviour and vile customer service!!!! It seems this is an ongoing problem with many customers and I hope the woman in question gets her karma extremely soon!
