The rudest possible woman in the post office. Ferocious. Older lady with black hair. Went online afterwards instead and found that she had also tried to overcharge me by £3 by assuming I wanted tracked with no option offered to choose how I send my package. Important to note that the shop staff are fabulous. She could certainly learn a few things about customer service from them.

Not the most pleasant experience. Queues are often long as there is only one till available therefore you will have to wait. If you try to send a large parcel you will gleefully told you can’t leave it, and must take it elsewhere. Customer service is poor and I find the main clerk quite rude and abrupt. She has overcharged me many times based on parcel measurements, so I now I ensure I buy my postage online. It’s cheaper, and I can check the dimensions myself. To repeat other reviewers the post office opening times on google are incorrect. However the Old Coulsdon Village shop next door accept parcels up to 10pm when they close…every day of the week. You must buy the postage online beforehand. The gentlemen will then scan your QR codes, Royal Mail collect the parcels from them. They are so kind and helpful and go out of their way to help. After the post office has closed you can post Parcelforce parcels in Morrisons. Not all the gentlemen have been trained in this service so it’s probably worth asking BEFORE you bring your item in!
