What is the point of advertising opening hours if you close when it suits. I visited at 13:30 on a Tuesday and it was closed.

Checked Friday post office open until 1pm . Clearly changed it this morning wanting to close early. No point in having set opening hours if you change it when you like

Rude ignorant postmaster there is a sign saying rudeness and abuse to staff will not be tolerated I agree but this sign should work both ways.I will try not to use this post office again but I’m guessing that’s that’s what he wants. Rude officious little man

Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
