- HHHypestatusAug 24, 20261.0I am writing to formally raise a concern about the service I received at the Perton branch. I visited to post a parcel and requested posting bags at the counter. Only one member of staff was serving while another remained in the back, which already caused delays. I was instructed to leave the queue and rejoin it simply to obtain the bags. After waiting again, I was told to leave the queue a second time to pay for them, then rejoin at the back once more. This resulted in unnecessary waiting and inconvenience. When I expressed my frustration, the staff member gave me a dismissive look, offered no apology, and then went back into the rear area, leaving her colleague alone to serve. Meanwhile, the queue for the shop grew with no staff available to assist 6 additional customers waiting. This experience was unacceptable and does not reflect the standard of service customers should expect. I believe staff would benefit from refresher training on customer care, queue management, and maintaining a professional attitude.

- AMAdam MellorOct 27, 20221.0This post office is a joke… I’ve been down 3 times in the last 3-4 weeks and it’s been closed, asked why at McColls & told sternly there’s no staff! What is going on here. Even when there’s staff in there’s huge que’s & even when my mrs went down to tax her car with her log book was told to come back another day because the women didn’t know how to tax the car without the reminder! I go to sainsburys to get my stamps now & try to avoid this place if I can. Heard so many people on Perton saying it’s gone down hill & they go elsewhere

*A cheque deposit envelope for your bank (these are available from your own bank or the majority are stocked in Post Office branches)

Simply hand over your sealed cheque deposit envelope to the Post Office who will provide you with a receipt for your cheque deposit envelope.
Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
