Absolutely appalling customer service. I visited the Post Office to deposit some cash. As soon as I approached the counter, the assistant appeared she appeared to be irritated, huffed, and when I handed over my money and debit card, she abruptly replied, “I don’t want that,” in a tone that immediately made me feel uncomfortable. She then asked me to insert my card into the machine. I misheard her and tapped my card instead, at which point she repeated, “I said insert the card,” in what I felt was a rude and dismissive tone. As I was trying to correct my mistake, she repeated herself again in an even ruder manner. I calmly asked her not to speak to me that way. Rather than acknowledging my concern, she repeatedly insisted that she hadn’t raised her voice. I explained that my issue wasn’t the volume of her voice but her tone and manner, which I found disrespectful. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve witnessed this member of staff speaking to customers in this way, although it is the first time I’ve challenged it myself. As I left and got into my car, I could clearly see her appearing to discuss the incident with colleagues, which only added to my discomfort. I have submitted a formal complaint because I don’t believe any customer should be made to feel this way. We all have bad days, and I appreciate that working with the public can be challenging. However, that does not make it acceptable to treat customers with disrespect or speak to them in such a dismissive manner. Courtesy, patience and professionalism should be the minimum standard, regardless of how busy or stressful the day may be. It’s a real shame, as this is otherwise a great local Post Office and petrol station with everything you need. I sincerely hope management addresses this issue so that other customers don’t have a similar experience.

Very inconsiderate, unhelpful, blunt, non-human "computer says no" approach by the lady at the till. Arrived at post office on 19th December at about 17.20 to post a single small letter that needed just a stamp. There was just one customer in front of me and no one else in the whole shop. I was turned away saying that they can not process my letter as they have to shut the post office for 30 minutes after serving the customer in front of me. I was asked to come back 30 minutes later. Common even artificial intelligence these days can understand and act more human like. It looks like this is not the first time that they have done this based on the previous review, and clearly, customer feedback does not exist in their books. Just drove a couple of miles to another post office 5 minutes later and took absolutely no time to post the letter. Will certainly take my business elsewhere from now on.

I generally like to post decent reviews of places where possible however, the attitude of some of the staff here is just out of control. Don’t get me wrong, some staff are nice and helpful. Numerous times I’ve been and in some way not happy with the way I’ve been spoken to, but tonight topped it. Apparently the post office closes between 6:30 and 7pm. Ok no problem but, the guy behind the till said bluntly and with attitude, it’s shut and every other post office is the same. Bearing in mind I’ve driven from Leek and told him that, I then went to Werrington post office (more fuel cost for me) and the service was excellent. It would have taken him the best part of 30 seconds to process my parcels. Come on Morrisons, get a grip of them.
