I have visited this branch on multiple occasions and have noticed a consistent pattern in my interactions with the manager.
On my visits, he rarely initiates or responds to basic greetings, does not appear particularly welcoming during the transaction, and usually ends the interaction without a simple "thank you", "goodbye", or "have a good day". This has happened often enough that it no longer feels like a one-off bad day.
What stands out to me is that I have observed him being noticeably more cheerful, conversational, and engaged with some customers immediately before my own interactions, making the difference in attitude difficult to ignore.
I appreciate that customer service can vary from day to day, which is why I did not raise this concern after a single visit. However, after repeated experiences over a long period of time, I felt it was important to leave honest feedback.
I have also read a number of other reviews from customers who describe similar experiences, which suggests that my concerns may not be isolated.
I am not claiming to know the reason for this difference in treatment, but I do believe all customers should be greeted and treated with the same level of courtesy, professionalism, and respect regardless of who they are.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively and that the customer experience can be improved for everyone. One incident that particularly concerned me was when my child picked up a toy in the shop. The manager raised his voice at my child rather than addressing the situation calmly. I found this upsetting and unnecessary, especially given that children will naturally be curious about items displayed in a shop.
Combined with my other experiences at this branch, it contributed to my overall impression that the customer service falls below the standard I would expect.

What can I say?
It's your local Post Office. I'm a believer in these. These need to be used. They need to survive.
The team down there is brilliant. Always happy to help. Always smiles. And always open when you need them.

If you use a seller platform they don't scan parcels in properly here so you don't get proper proof of postage, they refused to help me.
