Avoid this one. I've always dreaded walking into this one. The lack of staff has been mentioned plenty of time, and has been for God knows how many years now. The line can be out the door, two people max on the decks, and there's always one "worker" just sat there chatting away to customers they're done with. I absolutely hate this place. I went in on Saturday 25th July to do my DBS check. I went down because it said on their website I could get it done there. I walked in as soon as it opened, and the lady went "no, we don't do it". I said to her that it said on the website they do, then said "I can help a bit, but I'm the only one in today". I explained that it was for a job, and she smirked and went "no, can't help, next please". When I got outside, the person behind me also came over to me and said she was very rude, and funny enough we agreed that it's just the typical mentality of anyone that works there. Don't bother putting in complaints, because Post Office never acknowledge them. Just simply keep sharing your experiences here, and meet the staff with the same rude energy they give towards you. Pretty obvious that complaints just get tossed away. If this is how the staff are, I dread to think what their boss is like. Unless you absolutely need to use a service only this one provides, stick to the post offices in your independent corner shops. They deserve your custom way more than these do.

I use this post office frequently. Only ever seen one person serving so there’s regularly half dozen people queuing at any time and transactions always take so long to sort out. I wish I didn’t have to use them but the parcels I send back insist on post office label! Awful service

Twice now we have had people come in here from our family to get tax class changed with the correct documents. The staff have no idea what they are doing, We know the documents are correct because we go to another towns post office and immediately get it changed. The staff here need to actually read and listen to the people who clearly know their job better than them. They either don't want to do it, or are incapable of reading.
