  I had a deeply upsetting experience at this branch today. I am an older woman and I suffer from severe anxiety. I explicitly told the staff member that this was my first time ever doing this and processing a return, but she was incredibly cold, dismissive, and showed absolutely zero care or patience toward my situation, which made my anxiety significantly worse. To make matters worse, another staff member from the antiques section noticed my distress, and when I told her I have severe anxiety, her only response was an embarrassing and insensitive comment: "Please don't faint in here!" This is utterly humiliating and deeply disrespectful. After an exhausting struggle, a male staff member finally stepped in from the back to help process my return. On top of the cold and terrible treatment, I was forced to pay a fee for a return label printing service that should have been completely free. The lack of basic human decency and training on how to treat older customers dealing with anxiety at this Post Office is shocking. I am deeply disappointed. [Update: Response to the owner] You should be disappointed in your staff’s behavior, not my honest review. My portrayal of today’s events is 100% accurate. Your staff were cold, dismissive, and lacked basic empathy when I explicitly told them I was having a severe panic attack. Telling a distressed customer "Please don't faint in here" is not "going the extra mile"—it is deeply humiliating and unprofessional. Furthermore, you completely failed to address why your staff wrongly forced me to pay a fee for a label printing service that is officially free via the Royal Mail QR code. To make matters worse, they suspiciously refused my card and forced me to pay in cash only. I stand by every single word of my experience.
