I often have parcels redirected to this Post Office, since they remain undelivered for days on end if they are left in the postie’s hands. No matter whether I am at home or not - the postie somehow never manages to deliver my parcel, saying I am out when I am home, or that the close door was locked when it was open, or that no neighbours were home when in fact, they all work from home. I work 9-5 (as do many other people) and therefore am only able to collect my parcels from here before the Post Office closes at 5:30pm. When I went in to collect a parcel last week, the two staff behind the counter spent the whole time complaining to eachother about the line of customers waiting to be served. In fact, they spent more time complaining than they did serving me. On another occasion, a woman made a snide remark about me to a colleague while I was standing in the queue, and practically chased me out of the door as I left. If your posties delivered their parcels reliably, they would not need to be redirected to the Post Office. And if they did not need to be redirected to the Post Office, those who work 9-5 wouldn’t have to call in before closing at 5:30pm to collect them. Don’t take this frustration out on customers, who are just trying to use a broken postal service.

Seeing some of the reviews below is quite disappointing. I have never had a bad experience at this post office all the staff seem nice enough and the gentleman is very tentative and knowledgeable always willing to help and offer advice more so when posting packages to ensure they arrive at their destination in a safe and timely manner. I have been in the shop many of times when people have parcelled up things incorrectly making it difficult for parcel labels to stick which is essential if you want it to reach its destination and he has guided them on how to rectify this issue.
I would never think this is a prejudice issue i think it is more of a ‘customer thinks they are always right’ issue when infact this isnt always the case.
Keep up the good work the lovely gentleman at Govan Post Office.

If I can give zero stars I will! I am going to ring the royal mail and actually spend time over the phone to complain about the man who is working today (5th of Feb). I only came to post my packages to my friends and was being helped with the other person working here, and he won't stop interfering, saying he wants to refuse to take my package because I used white tape! Then kept saying bad things and giving me attitude and not even letting the lady do her work. It took so long that now he is threatening not to take it because he sealed the bag, even though I had gone to get a different kind of tape to fix my box.
Absolutely horrible man and no one deserves to be treated like this regardless of whatever prejudice he has on his own! Horrible horrible experience that I didn't sign up for 🙄 if I wasnt worried he will bin my box and won't let it make the bag, I would have said something.

Absolute hole of a place. Be prepared to stand queued around the aisles in the conjoined morrisons local for 25 mins. The one staff member that was on clearly doesnt want to be there! Picked up envelopes from the shelf in the post office to be told at the window they are paid for in the morrisons so 2 more queues later and another 20 mins I got served with shreks daughter!
