- RNRob NewmanNov 25, 20251.0I telephoned Mike Oak post office asking if I could pay in cash into my HSBC bank personal account. I was told to attend with cash but must have a bank giro credit. I attended later in the day with your credit/cheque book only to be told I couldn’t, blaming the lack of training. I suggested they rang a local post office for advice, but they refused, choosing to try and speak to a member of staff not on shift, but who didn’t answer their phone. The biggest disappointment was that both staff on duty (Tues pm) didn’t make any attempt to contact their HO for guidance. Message to manager - please train your staff of basic counter procedures and also customer service!
