Checked the Royal Mail website for opening hours to be told once I’ve turned up that they only open Monday and Friday 9:00-17:00. What an absolute joke. Information needs to be updated online to stop pointless journeys when they’re clearly not open

USELESS! Refused to take my eBay parcels because of "new instructions", and they advised me that I had to post them at a sorting office now. Took them to Stoke sorting office, who had no idea what he was on about so they had to ring the helpline which took AGES. It turns out that this instruction refers to the new RM24 & RM48 service which is coming out - nothing whatsoever to do with eBay. I wasted 2.5 hours sorting this out. They phoned 3 other local post offices and no-one else had confused these services.
Do they have adult literacy classes in Brown Edge?

So much more than just a local Post Office. Ticket agents for the Regent Theatre and Victoria Hall. Dry cleaning and photo developing services are available. Gifts and cards, National Lottery, newspapers and old fashioned sweets can all be purchased too.
Friendly and helpful staff.
