Didn’t have the right size box as they don’t have much of a selection of different sizes of parcels and boxes etc. Was told to go down the road to WH Smith to get a box from there then ran back to the post office to post my returned item then was told that I had to go and buy sticky tape from Aldi. now I’ve been to this post office before and they have had sticky tape and found them very helpful and pleasant. Today not the case. I went back for a second time waiting in queue in my lunch break and said you can keep the sticky tape for the next customers because the post office should have sticky tape. they refused my gift and said that I need to do all of this myself. Well I don’t work at a post office and I’m not a postman. Can’t run around like a headless chicken and buy all the means to post something from other shops, that’s what the post office is for. Next will be asking you to deliver it yourself.

Service used to be very friendly, post office with good stock of items and offer of services but unfortunately, not as much lately. It has recently opened after 2 week refurb (according to the sign) however, it seems to be even smaller, untidy and staff short-tempered. Over last 4 months I went 3 x to return Amazon parcel, to have the return code scanned (sometimes even twice) and being told the service is not working. Four month ago, on first occasion I was informed they are waiting for new scanner and it shouldn't be long, went back two weeks later - system still not working. I have recently attempted another Amazon return to just go frustratingly through the same process. My suggestion of possibly having a sign that Amazon return scan isn't working was met with angry response and I was essentially told that I will be banned from using their services. Disappointing service to say at least.
