What used to be a standard transaction has devolved into a series of unacceptable financial and professional failures. Financial Loss: My business is currently £20 down because staff miscounted a deposit brought in by my colleague. This is not just a mistake; it is a direct hit to our bottom line due to negligence. Obstruction of Business: Today, staff were incredibly rude and dismissive, refusing to process a deposit simply because it contained one £10 Scottish banknote. They claimed they could not take more than £1,000, despite the fact that business accounts are permitted to deposit up to £9,000 at Post Office locations. Hostile Environment: The atmosphere is toxic. The staff are unhelpful, accusatory, and treat customers with utter contempt. Banking requires a high level of trust, accuracy, and professionalism—none of which are present at this branch. Avoid this location at all costs unless you are prepared to lose money and deal with a level of service that is frankly an insult to the community.
