First time in this branch and was an absolute terrible experience.
Chaos.. 20 minutes queuing plus an inept staff member behind the counter !
All I wanted to do was renew my provisional driving license
Initially I got gave a paper form to take away I asked to use the scan photo and send service apparently their system was down !
The lady behind the counter made no attempt to scan my provisional or even really try to help actually.
In reality she didn't want to as there was a long queue so just fobbed me off !
The same staff member had made a mistake when receiving payment from a customer ahead of me which only caused more build up of the queue.
I took a short walk down to the carshalton high street post office branch where in 10 minutes flat they were able to provide a proper service and complete the scan photo and send service
Funny how their system wasn't down !
I would recommend avoiding Wallington high street post office if possible and just use carshaltons instead...

Rude. Slow. Busy. One member of staff. Queued for 45 minutes just to post a parcel. Terrible.

The staff (lady at the desk I dealt with) was so patient and genuinely kind. I felt really well looked after, and the service was incredibly helpful. Thank you for making the experience so positive.

If I could zero stars, I would! There is always a long queue here yet only one service desk open. They say they are short staffed, but this has been the case for many years. Why won't they get more staff? It's my local post office and I often walk here from home but I wish there was an alternative.
This morning, they were supposed to open at 9:00am. There was a queue forming outside with some people having to go to work; I didn't want to get a parking ticket since I expected them to open on time and thought I'd be quick, but they didn't open until ,9:12am. When they did open, there was no apology or recognition that they had kept customers waiting and when I mentioned that they were late in opening, I received a rude response!
Immediately a long queue formed with one person at the service desk. Another staff member arrived as we were queuing. I know I couldn't get to work that late! Awful business!
