If you've closed and moved you should close this listing and open a new one so the photos and reviews are not mixed.

Have nothing better to do while I continue waiting in line on a Saturday. Been here 15 minutes and not moved while the SINGLE employee deals with god knows what at the front of the queue. Meanwhile, 4 empty positions closed and no staff. 3:30pm.

Honestly, I don't normally review post offices but this has to be done. This post office needs new management or something. Not only are they extremely understaffed. People will happily go to lunch even when there's a mile long queue. I understand people being slow but this is beyond slow. even if the queue is short you'll be waiting more than 20+ minutes just to be seen. I have a Drop and Go account with Royal mail and even that doesn't save me from distress. I had dropped a parcel off on a Monday. Drop and go, Marked it as URGENT legit need it to be processed same day or next day at the latest. I told the staff member on site (the guy who sits on the far left with the magnifier) to do it either today or tomorrow morning early at the latest as its urgent, he told me it will be done. Now to my surprise these we're never done. Not for a entire week. I work weird hours so i had to BOOK A DAY OFF. TO GO INTO THE Post office to collect my parcels to go to a different post office in London for better service. What the heck? Can Royal mail not staff at least 3 people in the store. Ive been travelling further out to find a different post office close to my house because this one sucks. And i wish it didn't. Also ive had 2 parcels lost in the post office and told i should claim even though the tracking still says its waiting to be collected from the post office.

After spending 20 minutes in the queue with 12 others, a lady asked the staff member if anyone else was available but fornsome reason everyone has taken the lunch at the same in the back office, a bit of common sense at lunch time it will be a busy period
Ending up driving to ashford and had my letter posted which was probably quicker then waiting in there for staff
