The opening hours on Google and even of the royal mail website for this shop are apparently incorrect. I had to send a parcel quickly before work checking online for opening times and when I get there the lady informed me that the post office part opens at 9, it was around 8am. When I said that it should really be changed online and after the lady telling me I was not the first person to say it, she absolute lost the plot, raising her voice and saying she has a PhD and she's not stupid and that she's she's just there to help out. If the person this is regarding is reading this, please know that thinking you are stupid did not enter my head at any point. Also no one is judging you for where you are working and regardless of having a PhD you should still treat people with respect, especially since I was not even getting angry or raising my voice. When I went to different post office the gentleman was shocked about what had happened and said that all it is is an app and they just scan the QR for the royal mail parcel and he reckons this lady just didn't want to take the parcel for what ever reason. I will be complaining to Royal mail.
