I am extremely disappointed with the service I received today at this Post Office branch.
There was only one customer in front of me, yet I had to wait around 10 minutes because the staff member serving was repeatedly using his mobile phone for personal matters instead of focusing on customers. He appeared to be chatting, entering bank card details into his phone, and dealing with private business while people were waiting in the queue.
When it was finally my turn, I was still being ignored while he continued using his phone. I politely asked if he was working, as I had been waiting for a considerable time. Instead of apologising or helping me, he responded rudely and unprofessionally, saying, “No, I’m not working.”
The attitude and behaviour were completely unacceptable for someone working in customer service. I felt disrespected and shocked by the lack of professionalism. To make matters worse, I was effectively told to “go away,” which I found extremely rude and inappropriate.
Customers should not have to wait while staff deal with personal matters on their phones, nor should they be spoken to in such a disrespectful manner. I hope management investigates this incident and takes appropriate action to improve customer service standards at this branch.

I'm sceptical about some of these negative reviews. Been using this place for years and the staff have been nothing but helpful and polite whenever I've used all the facilities, including the post office.

The most disgusting level of service from this man, disrespectful and hugely unhelpful, DONT visit as a post office you won’t be served with any respect, threw my parcels at the doorway due to me asking for help as I had my small dog was with me (no where to tie him up outside) A few lessons on kindness and customer service would help him a lot.

Extremely helpful man with sending a parcel to Ireland. He was very patient and informative while also helping me get the best rate. 10/10 would recommend using this post office and shop. Thanks so much for your help!
