On two separate occasions now, the post office here has proven itself to be anything other than a post office.
Occasion one. Having an online shopping return, where the seller, a huge, very well known global brand, says take the item to the post office, show a QR, they will do "everything", NO need to package.... this PO, refused outright, even though they had just served a prior customer the exact same way.
This occasion.... the DVLA specifically lists this PO as a stockist of D1 license application forms.... a form that historically has only ever been available at PO's... yet this one, doesn't stock them.
It's a shame. The staff here are nice in every respect but the Post Office as an entity within the store, is an absolute shambles.
What ever happened to the pride the name Royal Mail and subsequently, the Post Office used to instill... not any more... and not this one.
