- HSHarmit SuraJul 9, 20241.0I dread, absolutely dread going to this post office. The manager is so rude and unhelpful. I’m from south Asian heritage, Indian so it really pains me to say that the Asian staff are really insolent for no good reason, you can’t politely ask a question without them trying to make you feel small or just plain refuse to help you. Having said that, there was one English female staff member who was utterly obnoxious, I asked if she could give me change in a few pound coins and before I could get all my words out she said we don’t do this? What? She had about £30 pound coins in her desk! Reigate do. The staff are barely civil, I always felt I had to humour them. I now try and go to Reigate if I need a post office. But I have stopped using Royal Mail to post out my eBay things. As I’m decluttering my home I’ve sent over 50 parcels out in the last few months and used yodel instead. No wonder Royal Mail is losing money and why isn’t something being done about this office? It is utterly ridiculous that so many of us who live locally travel to another town to avoid a national service that is in our doorstep!

- TETanya EtheridgeOct 27, 20202.0Sadly, i write this as its a real shame as 99% of the staff in this post office have been there for years and are absolutely lovely and could not be more helpful. They are lovely. I have been going to this post office 3+ times a week for the past 20 years. However, the reason i have been prompted to write this is they now seem to now have a new Manager who is unhelpful, obnoxious and rude - something that Dorking has definitely not been used to. Interestingly, other people had also left negative reviews for the same reason, but they have now disappeared. If this revew also disappears, i will take to head office!
