- NLNigel LloydMay 28, 20241.0My wife specifically asked to send a parcel via Royal Mail's Tracked 48 service. When she arrived home and looked at the receipt for a tracking number, we realised Locking PO had used standard second class post and therefore no tracking ( and consequently no eBay seller insurance) would be available. I went to Locking in the hope of rectifying the mistake. The member of staff tried to tell me that Tracked 48 and second class postage amounted to the same thing but then offered to change it to Tracked 48. He did not retrieve the parcel beforehand so, before he was about to print a new label and charge me accordingly, I asked to watch him attach the appropriate label on the package (for my own assurance). He then informed me that the package had already been collected so nothing could be done to relabel it. I can now only hope the package arrives safely and in good time.
