- CRCharlee RobinsSep 23, 20251.0My partner rang this post office, as this was the number that kept coming up when he searched for ilminster (recently moved to the area). He was desperately trying to chase a parcel - my birthday present that is nearly a week late now. The company missed off the house number. He was greeted very rudely with just a ‘hello’ had to confirm it was the post office, before being cut off and told ‘no, we’re Horton post office, you want the one in Ilminster’ & was hung up on! He bit his tongue and called back again, same rude lady answered, explained she was on her lunch (obviously a huge inconvenience for her) again same information abruptly said over the phone and my partner replied with “well I’m sorry to be an inconvenience to you, but obviously you aren’t going to be any help as this was the only number I found, I won’t bother you anymore” & hung up! Will certainly be trying to avoid needing to ever go to HORTON post office with a service like that on the phone, god knows what you’d get for walking in the place!!!
