- AHAbigail HunterAug 10, 20261.0I’ve lived on gospel lane since 2009 and as far back as I can remember the staff are usually ok.l but the miserable bloke that I assume owns the shop is just on another level rude. Customer service is next to none and if there was another post office that was convenient for me I’d never ever go back to this one I’d avoid it at all costs and use a post office drop point at oltons just down the road ( same side of the road) it’s literally a 2 min walk and the owner of that shop Is top notch I leave there with. Smile on my face every single time! Great service and you can drop off your Royal Mail packages there if you have a QR code for the label. Inpost locker outside and EVRI drop point in the launderette next door how these are still operating I’ll never know.

I use the post office regularly but he often leaves me waiting and goes to another till with no explanation. I was absolutely furious today when he left me after I had waited in the queue, to go and help another customer with no apology or explanation. If I had a convenient alternative post office nearby I won't go there because of him! His wife is the opposite always very lovely and helpful, it's a shame! Instead of blaming your customers with your comments you should address your behaviour!!!!

To deposit a cheque, you’ll need to bring the following to your nearest branch:

*A completed deposit slip from your bank, if applicable. Please contact your bank to request paying-in slips as these are not held in Post Office branches
*A cheque deposit envelope for your bank (these are available from your own bank or the majority are stocked in Post Office branches)
Please do not enclose cash. Full instructions can be found on the cheque deposit envelope.
Simply hand over your sealed cheque deposit envelope to the Post Office who will provide you with a receipt for your cheque deposit envelope.
Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
