Had an appointment booked for in-person ID verification, and I’d stated clearly beforehand that my driving licence is non-UK. Get there, and the staff member just refuses to even try, no real explanation, just “can’t do it for non-UK licences.”
I called the actual service provider after and they told me it’s literally just checking the document number and expiry date. That’s it. So I’m not sure what the issue was.
Went to a different post office right after and they sorted it in a couple of minutes, no problem at all.
So clearly it wasn’t my documents, it was just someone who didn’t want to do their job. Please hire qualified people and don’t waste people’s time.

Me and my friend went to go send off our driving licenses as we’ve went to go buy our postal order. I buy mine that’s fine but then when my friend goes to buy hers the woman at the desk decided to say “no no, you don’t have to pay just leave it” so she only buys a stamp without a postal order I was so confused what she was doing she took our envelopes and said that’s fine but I asked don’t I need my birth certificate in it too because I only put my national insurance number is so far and she decides to tell me that I don’t need either of them.

I posted a parcel from sunderland post office, lady behind the counter attached the postage lable and popped it into the bag. My customer customer never received the parcel, tried to contact the sunderland office, but they neither have a phone number or email address.
Parcel was finally tracked down the following month, only to find that it wasn't delivered because there was no post office label on the parcel.
My buyer had to pay extra postage to received the parcel because the post office hadn't put their label on securely!
I Won't be posting any more parcels from city centre post office again!
