When sending an item today, I dealt with a male staff member (bald with glasses) and was unsure which packaging option I needed. When I asked a few questions for clarification, I found his manner quite rude, abrupt, and patronising. Rather than answering my questions directly, he repeatedly responded with questions of his own and was generally unhelpful.
As a young woman, I found the interaction intimidating and uncomfortable. I appreciate that customer-facing roles can be challenging, but basic courtesy, patience, and professionalism go a long way. A little customer service and a friendly attitude can make a significant difference to a customer’s experience.
I hope this feedback is taken on board so that future customers receive a more positive and helpful service.
