Served by Tracey today: I left wondering if I’d done something personally offensive by existing. I’ve genuinely had warmer interactions with self check out tills.

Absolutely fantastic amenity for the community. Having a post office which is open outside normal office hours is such a benefit and also a novelty!
Really helpful staff who work like carthorses also running the Morrisons.

So I wanted to return a parcel I ordered incorrectly.I paid & got my QR code !
I looked which post office was nearest to where I live and the opening times!
This was available for me to see as I got my QR code!
I saw that the post office on Rural lane was the nearest & would be open at 6am .This post office is a franchise & part of the Morrisons shop premises !
I got there at 7.45 am Saturday 25th September! When entering the shop a pleasant young lady told me the post office counter isn’t open until 8am even though on the internet says 6AM !
I said ok & asked if I could leave the parcel & return after 8AM with my QR code which she agreed to!
At 8.15 AM I returned & was greeted by a lady mid 50’s .The post office counter still had a sign up saying closed .She didn’t bother taking it down and still started processing my QR code round the side of it (very unprofessional).Once scanning my code she asked me to put my parcel on the counter !
I asked if sh’d like me to put it somewhere appropriate as it was 19kg to which her response was we only handle 5kg as it’s the policy of Morrisons !
Now why have I had to go through all this ?
Why have I had no guidance on weights etc ?
Why are the opening times inaccurate?
And why did the grumpy cow expect me to know otherwise or so it felt!
Very very poor!
The. Women in question although obviously abiding by the rules which I have no problem with was obnoxious in my opinion .I ve seen her on other occasions spend ages talking rubbish with other customers whilst leaving other customers standing waiting for unacceptable amount of time !
She always looks stressed & acts like she’s the busiest woman on the planet !
Shes in competent !
Morrisons can do better & do the post office know this is happening ? I think not !!!

Literally never open according to their opening hours online, infuriating and upcoming multiple days just to post one item. Always an excuse about the till being cashed or closed when it shouldn’t be.
