So what a treat that every time I drop the goods off here, the lads consistently “deliver the goods”. In terms of customer service, professionalism and knowledge, the young men who work here are second to none. They have really turned the place around in recent years. I see there are some poor reviews of the place, 1 star in some cases, which is such a shame that one member of staff (who I haven’t seen in a short while) can sully an otherwise impeccable service. Baxters News and Crookes Valley Post Office not only meet exceptional high standards of service delivery and presentation, but they do something that’s hard to find these days — to me they feel like a proper English news agent, and a proper English post office. A feeling I have not felt since….

The staff are especially outstanding — friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. They took the time to assist everyone with patience and a positive attitude, which made the whole visit smooth and stress-free.
