It was late and only 10 minutes was left until closing. I managed to pack and post my item. The lovely post office lady did not rush me and was very patient and helpful. The item was worth £400. Unfortunately, yesterday evening, I was informed by ebay that I had been scammed and the buyer had not payed for the item that I had just posted. I therefore arrived at the post office early this morning to try and intercept my parcel to prevent the scam from going ahead. The same lovely post office worker arrived early for work and very kindly let me in to sort my parcel. The parcel was still in the post office as it had not been collected as yet. The post office mistress was so understanding and helpful. She cancelled the postage as it was a track and sign and returned my parcel to me, preventing the scam from happening. This saved me the loss of a £400 item. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I am forever in their debt. She was so helpful and, to my surprise, I was also refunded the postage cost. The best post office in Southport!!
