  I have to say I had a vastly different experience in the post office yesterday I walk in and a smiling blonde lady said good afternoon how can I help I had to pick up a parcel which she found she asked me to sign and kinda wince when she asked for I'd which I showed I then asked did they sell carrier bags id forgotten mine I'm on crutches so the box was going to be hard work she tried a parcel bag then found a clear bag for me she was really nice and very kind when she found out why my head was all over the place so personally I would recommend the post office or at least give them a chance because if we don't we may lose it we've all seen that happen I can understand why there isn't much in the shop perfume and a variety of cards but if no one buys anything they probably can't afford to completely stock the shop. I was a little nervous going in but the lady put me at ease straight away and was polite and welcoming you can't say any fairer than that which is why I'm leaving this review thank you for reading

  The shops opening times have always been extremely unreliable so don’t go by what it says online! Don’t bother sending parcels if you actually want them as they will never be open to collect.

  Possibly the most depressing post office in the UK. Staff are rude, obnoxious and shop is empty. They don't even sell jiffy bags or envelopes, basic stuff you think they'd stock. Is also only open 4 hours a day and they wonder why PO's are being closed across the country. Pointless being there in my opinion.
