- SRSandra RichterSep 13, 20251.0Usually very good but a post office counter worker put the wrong information on my parcel to France . I did not have a custom form so she offered to fill in a form on the computer.I gave her a written list of the contents and took the time to explain the value of each item. I'd included a cheap 50p sewing kit for my grandchild and it was evidently written on the customs form as worth £50 - resulting in an extra £33 to pay in duty and a 2 hour round journey in France to pay the tax on the parcel before they would release it. A very costly mistake causing extra expense for my family in unwarrented tax payments, petrol costs, and time spent resolving some ones mistake in england.

I was told to come back when it re opens in a hour. I explained I've walked 20 minutes and am pregnant so not easy to come again In a hour. Won't be wasting my time going there again.
