I went into post a large quantity of packages internationally. Guy behind the counter didn’t seem to know what he was doing and I initially said I can take them elsewhere, he said no so I gave him the packages. He went through them all and not once gave me a customs declaration to fill in. I asked him for the declarations and he said they weren’t needed to which I told him they were needed, he again said no, he carried on putting in the information at which point I decided something isn’t right and I wanted my parcels back and that I would go elsewhere because I didn’t trust they would arrive as they should. He refused telling me I know had to pay £52 and he can’t give my parcels back. This went backwards and forwards before another customer got someone on the phone who is a post office worker and told him that he must hand back my parcels and that all he has to do is take the labels off. He continued to say no but eventually gave in. I had to threaten to call the police as he was refusing to give me my property back, at which point he was allready on FaceTime to who I’m guessing is family members although they were speaking foreign language so I wasn’t sure. As he took the labels off he pretty much threw my packages at me and whilst that’s happening he was still talking on the phone at which point he holds his phone camera up to my face which i am guessing is to show whoever is on the other end my face which I am now worried about what they might do, the voice from the phone then says something in English which I could not hear clearly and then “maybe you should have visited the high street next time”. I got all my packages back which were pretty much thrown at me and left feeling angry, upset and threatened by the staff member. Avoid at all costs as A your package won’t end up where it needs to be as it should and B you may also end up getting threatened. I will be filing a formal complaint with post office management

If you were to send anything outside of UK, please check your receipt properly because this branch often put the wrong destination and service. i.e. Swaziland instead of Switzerland or Priority service (4 days delivery) instead of express service (1day delivery) to France.
Absolutely rubbish staff. They shouldn't do post office service if they can't train staff properly.
