Rather than jumping the queue I waited in line just to hand over the parcel . “Can you put this in the post please , it’s all paid for “ The lady serving proceeds to look me up and down then looks at the parcel and asks. “Whit is it ?” I respond it’s a medical test return why ? ( clearly says it on the package). “it’s nae a covid test is it ! We don’t dae them !” “Well it’s not a covid test so just put it in the post please . Yeah ? Thanks very much” As I walk away from behind me the lady calls me a swear word and mutters to another member of the staff . Charming . Seriously is it any wonder that high street shops are dying out when this is the attitude you have to deal with from ignorant busy bodies.
