I went in there to withdraw a large sum of cash and he told me why I didn’t use a cashpoint?! I would’ve needed multiple withdrawals with a standard ATM compared to the Post Office. I mean if we don’t use the services available at a Post Office then surely there wouldn’t be a need for them?! I gave him the benefit of the doubt and went in another time where I needed to post a parcel and he told me they needed to close soon. I pointed out that there’s 20 minutes left until closing time so he then reluctantly served me. Customer service with a smile goes a long way, it’s no wonder that local post offices are closing down. I now use the Birmingham City Centre branch where they deliver consistent and professional customer service.
