Went to return amazon parcel. Queued 15mins at Post Office counter, only to be told to go to store counter as the scanner wasn't at post office counter. Guy at the store counter was aggressive in tone to my frustration at the lack of clear signage where to go for amazon parcels. Apparently I'm at fault for not knowing that they only hold Amazon scanner at the store counter. He pointed at a small added label on a busy sign to say all parcel services available. Unfortunately, 'post office' is clearly arrow signed to the back of the store. Nothing states Amazon parcels can't be taken at the post office counter either. Yet, according to this member of staff, I was at fault for failing to read the signage. Which, I realised departing, I could not have done as it hidden behind promotional material! See photo - don't think the staff have realised how difficult that is to read when entering a strange new location! Really disappointed, really shaken for unnecessary aggression and just deflated after this experience.

Excellent customer service, always! The team at the Reading Road post office always serve customers with kindness and patience, even during the height of the festive season, when the queues were out the door. I use the post office a few times a week to send parcels from my business. I recently sent a set of wedding invitations on behalf of a client that were being sent all over the world, 8 different countries in total. They were patient, methodical and efficient at processing all the invitations. Thank you!
