I have already made the 40 mile round trip once, to be met with a hastily made sign saying 'sorry we are closed'.. So today I phone ahead to make it's open, no answer. Ok I thought, perhaps they are busy, so I will give WH Smiths a call for a simple yes or no.. WOW was I not prepared. The lady quite sternly says 9-5.30.. Yes I know the opening hours, what I want to know is, is it open today due to how far I have to drive... again 9-5.30.. A simple yes its open or no its closed would have been great, but I am left here still wondering if she actually wants people to waste fuel and time, just because she couldn't give a simple yes or no. PATHETIC! So I will take my business elsewhere.. If you're lucky it MIGHT be open, or unlucky it might be closed, I'm sure Schrödinger would have a field day here!
