I’ve just come back from trying to use the Sonning Common post office which opens at 9am. I arrived at 09.55 only to be told that it will be closed for 10mins so returned 15 mins later. By this time there were 3 of us wanting parcels to be sent. When a fellow customer asked when it will open again, we were told not for another 10mins as the lady (who is the only person who works behind the post office counter) was having a break. The post office closes at 1pm….
Is this service good enough for a local post office especially for people who work through the week and can only use the service on Saturday which is a short day for opening??
