- GGGavJul 11, 20261.0If you’re looking to add a bit of misery to your day, this is the post office for you. The atmosphere is so gloomy it could probably power a rain cloud. The older lady and the manager on shift were incredibly rude, unhelpful, and acted as though helping customers was a personal inconvenience. It honestly felt like I’d committed a crime by walking through the door. The only redeeming part of the experience came afterwards when I spoke to a young guy on the phone. He was friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful—proof that good customer service does exist. It’s just a shame that wasn’t the experience I had in the branch. I’d only recommend this post office if your day is going a little too well and you feel the need to balance things out.

As at this date 24-02-2026 and at this time you are open, but you would not think as you do not answer the phone, ever! It is unacceptable and very poor service, if you can call it that. Whoever the Manager is of this Post Office you need a serious 1-1 taking too by your Area Manager as you are not ensuring that this branch is being run correctly. I will be making a full written complaint to the Head Office of Royal Mail. You would think that with the Post Office Scandal and your abysmal failure in the news this week about your inability to deliver 1st class post on time that someone somewhere would be ensuring some form of service standard, at present you have none. Why bother to have a phone number when; You allow it ring and you DO NOT ANSWER IT you have no option to leave a message for a call back.
