Closed until further notice?! What does that even mean! Tomorrow? Next week?! No update online. This place is an absolute joke. My package is there and I need it asap!

Once again this Post Office has achieved new lows, it already had the crown of being the slowest post office I'd ever been to but now it's the most useless. "Closed until further notice". Brilliant

The rudest woman ever - why work in a customer facing job if you hate people? I arrived 10 mins before closing in a big queue, only to be told when I got to the front of the queue, she’d turned the card reader off because she was closing! If you’re going to pack up early, at least tell everyone in the queue that you’re doing so, rather than wasting people’s time. A truly horrible experience.

Queue out the door again.😖
Never seems to be a time when it isnt like this. Service is slower and more painful than watching paint dry.
Yet nothing is done... been like this for a long time.
Sort it out Royal Mail!

Staff shortages are your operational issue, not mine.
I arrived at 12:26 PM today to collect a parcel. A white male customer who walked in a second ahead of me was immediately served. Yet I—an East Asian customer standing right behind him at 12:26 PM—was singled out and turned away, being repeatedly lied to that it was "12:30 PM".
When I returned at 12:28 PM, a Black male customer was inside queueing. Only after I asked staff why he was allowed to queue was he turned away.
To top off the lack of professionalism, your door notice stated a 1:30 PM re-opening, yet staff kept it locked until 2:00 PM without a word.
In my years living in the UK, I have never experienced such blatant differential treatment at a public counter. I have timestamped video evidence confirming the timeline and have officially escalated this matter to Layla Moran MP, Post Office HQ, and Thames Valley Police.
Frequently Asked Questions About Northcourt Post Office
How much cash can I withdraw at a Post Office counter?
The amount you can withdraw in a Post Office branch will depend on any withdrawal limits in place on the specific account you hold with your bank. If you’re unsure, please contact your bank directly to check.
Do I get charged for making cash withdrawals at Post Office?
No charges are taken at the counter however some banks may charge.
For details, please check directly with your own bank.
How do I deposit a cheque at Post Office?
To deposit a cheque, you’ll need to bring the following to your nearest branch:
*The cheque
*A completed deposit slip from your bank, if applicable. Please contact your bank to request paying-in slips as these are not held in Post Office branches
*A cheque deposit envelope for your bank (these are available from your own bank or the majority are stocked in Post Office branches)
Please do not enclose cash. Full instructions can be found on the cheque deposit envelope.
Simply hand over your sealed cheque deposit envelope to the Post Office who will provide you with a receipt for your cheque deposit envelope.
Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
To get more information about your bank’s services and Change Giving, contact them directly.
What is the Post Office Change Giving service?
If you’re a business banking customer and you regularly need to exchange cash for coins, you can do this at the Post Office with selected banks using our Change Giving and Change Giving “Lite” services.
