Literally always closed for lunch (despite not advertising this anywhere). I’ve visited so many different times between 12-2pm to find a sign on the door saying they’re closed. Working people with 9-5 jobs need to visit over lunch breaks….its not the 1950s and there are multiple staff on, so why can’t they stagger lunch breaks to remain open?! And if they’re going to close, actually publish the half hour they take and stick to it. Rather than people going back and forth on a wild goose chase waiting for it to open.
The staff here are also so rude, no matter if you’re buying stamps, collecting or dropping off parcels they act like you’re a burden and they don’t want to help you. Rarely even say hello when you walk in! You get better service and more conversation from an inpost locker! Post Office and Royal Mail would be ashamed. Avoid if you can and go to a different post office or use Evri and Inpost at Hardy’s and Newsforce.

I have always had good experiences at this post office, the lovely lady that is ALWAYS there (Sorry I didn't catch her name) is an angel. I pop in every week due to work and she is always chatty and kind to me, it is honestly the best errand of the week. Unlike all of these other NASTY reviews, I have never had an issue with incorrect opening times or a poor service!!!! Thank you for always working so hard.

A really terrible post office. Seldom open when it should be and, even when it is, the service etc. makes you wish you hadn’t bothered. Strongly recommend going to Whitley Lodge instead as the team there are lovely.
