I just had to 'put pen to paper' straightaway after visiting the Post Office, only yesterday, (Friday 3rd July) and give a resounding shout out for the most attentive and helpful customer service received from the Post Office employee, Kerry, in helping me to save postage costs. I had 2 cards in a cardboard wrapping which I was sending to Australia and the cost was high. Kerry was very encouraging in suggesting that I post the cards in an ordinary envelope knowing it would reduce my postage. I did hesitate, thinking I would take the 'hit' this time, but Kerry was urging me to repackage to bring the cost down - her genuine and enthusiastic advice certainly did bring the cost down and by half! She went beyond her role in serving me and said that she would repackage the cards and address the envelope accordingly - all said with a strong keenness to help me to get the best 'deal'. I must point out that at the time, there were only 2 customers awaiting to be served, however, the other counter was available and so I did not hold anybody up. I would also mention that on a previous occasion, I had 2 parcels to send to Australia, which potentially cost a lot to send separately. Kerry, again pointed out that I could combine as one to bring the cost done. I did not even know I could do this and was delighted that she had told me. I bought the necessary sellotape and stuck the 2 parcels together. This brought the cost down by about £10.00. I can't imagine there being many other PO staff in other offices be as keen to help. I just want to say that I was quite overcome on both occasions that someone would take the time and effort to help me. Kerry is certainly efficient in her Post Office role, which she has proved, but she has also shown wanting to help customers in any way she can and with genuine enthusiasm and energy. I left the Post Office on those 2 occasions, feeling more than happy and satisfied. Thank you Kerry for what you have done to help me, it is much appreciated. :-)

Wait 25 minutes while the lady (who has been mentioned in several other reviews) chats to one customer at the front and then get patronisingly told you can't expect to be served immediately
