They said they couldn’t accept it and it needed to go to the Premier shop up the road. It didn’t - I tried a nearby Post Office instead and the parcel was accepted instantly.

If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
