- AAAngieApr 30, 20242.0I have used this post office service for several years, and in the past, it was known for its friendly and professional staff. However, there has been a “recent” change since they hired a middle-aged woman who lacks professionalism. I have had the displeasure of dealing with this woman on two separate occasions, and each time she was extremely rude and unprofessional. It is obvious that she lacks basic knowledge about the different delivery services, such as 1st or 2nd class, as well as tracking options (she told me 1st class packages can be delivered within one week or more) and when I mentioned that I believed Royal Mail 1st class usually takes 1-2 working days to be delivered, she replied, “I am not working for Royal Mail”. Her disrespectful attitude - constant head-shaking, and eye-rolling were completely unacceptable. Despite my best efforts to remain polite and cheerful. Today, I reached my limit and decided to take my package back and send it elsewhere. However, she showed no signs of apology, only questioning, "What did I do?" This level of customer service is truly dreadful. It is important for staff members, especially those working in a Post Office, to treat all individuals with respect and dignity, regardless of their race or background. If one is not willing to work with people, it’s best not to do so! Please DO NOT ruin other people's day simply because you are unable to fulfill your work duties as you supposed to.
