Saw a man post two documents which he needed ‘signed for’ and they charged him over £22, completely unnecessary. I always state the exact service I require and even then they try to convince me I need special delivery

I always go to beeston now to send parcels, it’s more inconvenient but I’d rather go there than get scammed.
- SMS MDec 22, 20252.0I avoid coming here as much as I can, however I had some returns that needed doing ASAP and unfortunately, I had to come to this post office. The lady with the lipstick made my simple returns task so unpleasant. I wasn’t greeted or verbally acknowledged when it was my turn — I was nodded at, which made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a customer. I didn’t force you into this job, sorry that you’re being made to do work? I understand people have busy days, but surely you should treat all customers the same, you’re more than capable of being fine because I witnessed you being chatty and happy with the person before me. It’s like it got to my turn and you couldn’t be bothered, and you’d rather save your customer service skills for people who aren’t the same colour as you. Basic communication and courtesy go a long way. I’ll use a different branch next time purely to avoid this woman, I don’t want to have the displeasure of being served by her ever again.
