I’m very disappointed in my recent visit where I came to pick up a parcel I had delivered here. I use this post office/shop quite regularly. I’m usually dealt with a younger guy as I tend to visit in the evenings after work, who is lovely. Today I was dealt with an older guy who I have experienced before. The first time I had just moved into my new house and my ID had my older address I explained it’s on the way with the dvla and I had only moved into the new place 2 days ago. I wrote this off as he might have had a bad day. Today I came in and it was the same older guy. I was asked for my Id and tracking number I was a little thrown off as I don’t tend to get asked for any of them ID sometimes but tracking number never. I started to go to my emails and he said “should be on your text, pretty straight forward and for your ID that’s pretty straight forward too”. I was taken back by his comments and left feeling very disappointed. As a customer I felt disrespected and at times was spoke down to. I will avoid coming here in the mornings to avoid him and where needs be go to a post office a little further out. Simple rule don’t be rude to customers who are being polite to you and don’t deserve to be spoken like that.
