Please can we have previous owners back! If you don’t get one of the original ladies the service is slow and grumpy, it used to be a happy and welcome atmosphere but not any more, you feel like you are putting them out when you go in, I queued for the one open till, when I got to the front the man grumbled at me “she can do it, go there” a trainee lady served me and there was no chance of a smile!

Tuckswood Post Office is handy and the service is okay, but some staff can be rude and grumpy at times. A few of them also make silly mistakes, which can be frustrating. Still useful, but the experience can be hit‑and‑miss.

I've been happily using this branch for the last five years without any complaints but it's going badly downhill lately. Still the great level of service from the long-standing staff members but the new guy who I'm told now manages it... Last time I was served by him he decided answering his personal phone was more important than finishing the transaction I was halfway through - I had to go to the other counter and start again as he was completely ignoring me. Today he decided putting away the stack of parcels on his own counter was beneath him so told his colleague to stop serving me, again halfway through a transaction... If I didn't need to get my bills paid I would have walked out! I've also been in there on more than one occasion when the queue is out the door, his poor colleague is trying to serve everyone by themselves and he's just standing around watching. I don't know how much longer I'll continue using this branch - my next nearest one isn't all that much further and there's plenty of lockers around now to send my parcels from...
