The earlier poor reviews refer to previous ownership - new owners are very helpful and courteous - opening hours have been extended - we are lucky to have a such a shop and post office in the village.

I visited Old Buckenham Post Office last week to send a parcel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was quick and efficient. The post office is located in a lovely village, with a green and a church nearby. It also offers a range of other services, such as banking and bill payments. The only downside was that the opening hours were not very convenient for me, as they close at 5:30 pm on weekdays and 12:00 pm on Saturdays. I wish they could stay open longer, especially on weekends. Overall, I had a good experience at Old Buckenham Post Office and would recommend it to others.

I never use this post office, I make sure I drive to New Buckenham. The lady who runs this is just so unapproachable, unfriendly and basically should let someone run it to its full potential! Such a shame but not somewhere I would ever go to again.

I’ve just returned from my very last visit to this post office. I only use this place when I absolutely have to as I’ve found the service rather abrupt and unfriendly, but this morning’s experience was extreme. I wanted to post a parcel and the post mistress was on the phone. Nevertheless she served me, barking out orders in between her phone conversation. ‘Show me the barcode…. Show me the post code’ no please, no smile, no pleasantries. She carried on with her phone conversation. I said ‘How rude’, and walked away. She shouted, very aggressively; ‘I’m not rude, I’m on the phone to the dentist, don’t come to this shop again’! Madam, you are rude in the extreme, and I will never use your shop again to experience your appalling service.
This deserves no stars, but I have to rate with one to enter this review.
