- LBLorraine BartonFeb 20, 20241.0For some time I have banked at this Post Office. Despite the inconvenience of them sometimes cashing up in the middle of the day and being asked to come back later, it's been fine. Today's atrocious service was something else. I was served by a young woman (who I hadn't seen before) who refused to take my banking deposit as they are 'no longer allowed' to take change. I have to bank the exact amount of takings each week which have to balance with the books (not round it up or down). Her attitude was awful and she point blank refused to take the deposit because it included £2.63 in change. I then had to drive to another Post Office where I was served more professionally. As a business this woman needs to be either trained properly or replaced as she is going to lose you a lot of custom. I for one won't be going back.

The staff member behind the counter tried to help but the another older lady was very dismissive telling me ‘it’s not here’, shrugged her shoulders and carried on talking to her colleagues - very rude.
