    Twice I have ordered important medication for my cat's heart condition, and both times Animed has let me down. They've shown the item in stock, allowed me to place an order, gone silent for a week, and then come back to me telling me they actually don't have it in stock at all. The second time, they encouraged me to wait for a date in the near future when they would be receiving a restock - this date came and went, then they emailed me once again to tell me that they don't have any at all. When asked, they weren't able to answer whether or not they received some and didn't honour my order, or whether they didn't get any in. Considering our cat has this condition that is already a huge source of stress and expensive to medicate, to be put through the wringer like this is just totally unacceptable. Animed - a small amount of proactivity and initiative would save your customers a lot of trouble and at least allow them to make other arrangements in good time.

    I would highly recommend Animed. I needed to phone to query an order which was delayed by administration problems from my vet to Animed so no fault of Animed at all and the lady I spoke to was amazing. So kind, caring and compassionate at a time when I was very upset with my dogs recent diagnosis, collapse and fit. She was calm and was genuinely concerned and wanting to help asking questions and putting me at ease abd dealing very well with my tears. She resolved my query and I received the medication for my dog in good time. I'm pleased to say my dog is now taking her tablets and seems much improved and I am so grateful for the help and support I received. Definitely went the extra mile thank you.

    Would be 5* if I could use website! I had to telephone again to place my order. The lady on the phone was very helpful, explaining that website has a "clinch now & again" took my order, was delivered by Royal Mail in 3 days, who left the medication in a plant pot never bothered knocking the door! Cannot blame Animed for this. I would definitely recommend & I do, regularly.

    We have used Animed for quite a while for our Jack Russels medication, the service is very good BUT due to recent changes delivery has become very difficult, we used to get the meds delivered to my work address but apparently that is no longer allowed which makes it very difficult as the parcel has to be signed for and we are out at work all week , we eventually managed to get the parcel delivered to a local Morrisons pick up point but only after numerous phone calls to Animed and DHL , which became quite stressful, the parcel was eventually delivered a day late !

    I’m really disappointed with Animed. I ordered insulin for my cat on Thursday early morning, fully within their required timeframe stated on website and before any ,,hot weather,, yet I was given almost no notice that the order wouldn’t be shipped due to “hot weather”. This left me in an awful position ,completely unprepared, with no alternative offered, and no sense that anyone understood the seriousness of delaying essential medication.I have even offered to collect the medication in such situation.Option not accepted by Animed. A company handling life sustaining medication should have professional standards, contingency plans, and clear communication. Animed showed none of that. Proved that at the point of crisis all they care is your money they hold and nothing else. Instead, I was left wasting time on emails and phone calls, trying to get answers that should have been provided upfront. There was no urgency, no empathy, and no responsibility taken. You cannot handle critical medication this casually or expect customers to simply accept it. This experience proved to me that Animed is not equipped to manage essential prescriptions safely or professionally. I would not use them again.
