I always seem to be in the way of staff shelf filling or wanting in the back room so not sure why it tells you to stand in that position when 90% of the time you get asked to move! Apart from that they are great
- TTTheDroneKingVSep 8, 20265.0High Heaton Post Office is pretty much your standard local post office, but it’s handy to have nearby and has all the usual services you’d expect, including postage, parcels, Amazon returns and other regular Post Office services. It can get quite busy around school times, mainly because it’s literally opposite Heaton Manor (Jesmond Park Academy), so you do get plenty of school kids coming in. You can definitely get some characters walking into the shop from time to time, but that’s more down to the location and the amount of people coming through than anything else. The staff themselves are always very helpful and friendly, which makes a difference when it’s busy. They also have a decent selection of drinks, snacks and other bits if you fancy grabbing something while you’re there. Overall, it’s a useful local post office with all the services you’d expect, helpful staff and a few extras in store.

I have had important mail repeatedly go missing, and even after bringing the issue to their attention, nothing seems to be done about it. This is far beyond a simple inconvenience. People trust the postal service with checks, personal information, legal documents, and other sensitive mail. When items continue to disappear with no explanation or accountability, it raises serious concerns about how mail is being handled. Customers deserve better service, answers, and accountability. Dont trust the royal mail.
