Hamza Khalabai treated me with utmost respect when I was buying some sweets for myself and friends. This shop pleases my heart and lifts my spirit every time I visit. Thankyou Hamza for your hard work.

Brunton Park Post office is a hub of the local community, providing both post office and newsagent services. The staff are friendly and eager to help. The overwhelming majority of the people you will meet if you go in the shop are friendly and show genuine understanding of how to be nice customers. Sadly I have witnessed first hand how a tiny minority of customers believe they are special and should be treated differently. Did you know, for example, that the Post Office requires staff to check for ID on each collection if you don't have the carrier's collection code? A passive aggressive "You know me" or "You've seen my ID before" isn't OK and it is not rude to be told so. Those are the rules we all have to follow. Some carriers, who shall remain nameless, drop off parcels and then inform recipients that they are ready for collection when they are not. The Post Office requires that all parcels are checked into the premises and this takes time. Especially in the late afternoon when the after school/after work rush happens. But don't take my word for it, I'm just an anonymous reviewer on Google, I could have an axe to grind. If you're ever there, decide for yourself which reviewers to believe.

As a daily customer who regularly sends and collects parcels from this branch, I genuinely dread having to come here now. The customer service is consistently poor. One member of staff, in particular, seems more interested in being rude than helping customers. If a parcel provider has already sent a text confirming that my parcel is ready for collection, I don’t expect to be told to “come back in an hour” because the branch hasn’t scanned it in yet. That isn’t the customer’s fault—it simply suggests the branch needs better processes or staff training to ensure parcels are scanned promptly. The attitude of the staff in general is disappointing. They are often unhelpful, unfriendly, and make customers feel like an inconvenience rather than someone they’re there to assist. The new ID requirement is also frustrating. While I understand that ID checks are part of security procedures, when you’re in the branch almost every day and the staff know exactly who you are, applying the rule without any common sense feels unnecessarily awkward and unfriendly. Overall, this branch has gone from somewhere I used regularly without issue to somewhere I now hate visiting. Better customer service, improved organisation, and a more respectful attitude towards regular customers would make a huge difference.
